Objective I will learn strategies for incorporating technology into vocabulary and fluency instruction.

Vocabulary is important because…  Beginning readers use their oral vocabulary to make sense of the words they read.  Readers must know what most of the words mean before they can understand what they are reading. PRF, p. 34

Fluency is … *the ability to read quickly, effortlessly, and accurately with good, meaningful expression. R.11._.11 Read grade level text fluently with a minimum of _wpm. R.11._.12 Read familiar grade level text using appropriate rhythm, pace, phrasing, punctuation, and intonation. PRF, p. 22, 24, 26-29
