iTEAMS OUTCOMES iTEAMS WEBSITE Intranet resources and an Intranet for iTEAMS teachers collaboration and future teachers review of iTEAMS PD. SHARED RESOURCES iTEAMS teachers will engage in reviews of resources as part of their online hours – developing a “Yelp” for NGSS and Common Core resources. STEM PROJECTS Each iTEAMS grade will develop a team-based culminating STEM student project and share lessons and materials with colleagues.

Teacher Requirements & Opportunities

Participate in 60 hours of Professional Development Annually (5 Summer Days, 3 Release Days) Participate in 24 follow up hours per year (12 hours of collaboration, 6 hours online, 6 hours of coaching) Participate in required evaluation activities.  Teachers receive $6300 ($2100 annually for 3 years).  Teachers are part of a unique North Bay collaborative.  Teachers will shape STEM education in the Bay Area.

iTEAMS Annual Themes In a survey of 1000 SRCS students, all 3 rd – 8 th grade SRCS students showed interest in learning about the environment, transportation, and engaging in building projects. When asked what they liked best about math and science. Students mentioned, "working in groups" and "solving problems" and "investigating things” and ” inventing stuff."
