BRIAN'S HUNT By: Adrian Gonzalez

A IS FOR ADVENTURIST In my book Brian is always seeking to find something new to discover.

B IS FOR BRIAN Brian is a boy who survived a plane crash and is now alone in the woods to take care of himself and has to face nature.

C IS FOR COLLAR The collar is what Brian made for the dog so he can go to places with it

D IS FOR DOG In Brains hunt he finds a dog and takes care of it. He cured it from near death

E IS FOR ENCOURAGING Brian is very encouraging towards others and helps them out. Susan needed help and Brian saved her from a bear. He also encouraged Susan to do the things he does and to help him out such as surviving, fishing, hunting, crafting, and taking care of the dog.

F IS FOR FIRST AID Brian finds a first aid kit, saves a dog with it, and treats it with what he has in the kit. He finds stitches to help the dog out with its cuts that it got from a wild animal in the wilderness.

G IS FOR GARY PAULSEN Gary Paulsen is the author of my book. He wrote the Brian Series, Woodsong, Dogsong. He has also won many awards writing those books including the Hatchet.

H IS FOR HUNTER The only way Brian can get food is by hunting, collecting berries or fishing and that’s what he does. Brian hunts for food with his bow and arrow to feed himself and the dog

I IS FOR IMMEDIATELY Brian goes fishing on his canoe and immediately pulls the fish in. He guts the fish and takes out most of the bones that the fish had. He know has food to eat.

J IS FOR JACKET Brian is going out but now he needs a waterproof and cool jacket. He gets the clothing but the jacket was the main priority of the suit that was water proof. He wore the jacket, pullover anorak that went down to his knees, and he wore two polar fleece pullovers to wear under the parka of his suit.

K IS KILL When Brian goes hunting he needs to kill the animals for food. He feeds himself and the dog that he found and is know taking care of it

L IS FOR LOG In Brains return the log is where Brian finds the injured dog whimpering and crying for help. Brian helps it get up from the log and he is know going to treat the dog as his responsibility now.

M IS FOR MYSTERY Brian is looking for the person or animal that wounded the dog that he found. He thinks its someone from a different camp so he's on the look.

N IS FOR NORTH Brian realizes that the dog came from the north and is now heading that way to see if he finds anything or anyone that caused the dogs injury. Before they went they ate stew and hung out next to the fire.

O IS FOR OUTDOORS Outdoors is where Brian spent most of his time in this whole book. He hunted, fished, collected, built, and saved a dog.

P IS FOR PADDLE The paddle is what Brian used to move his canoe. He went fishing on it and sometimes used it for transportation

Q IS FOR QUIVER The quiver is what Brian used to hold his arrows and to stash some stuff like a book bag.

R IS FOR RABBIT Brian went hunting to feed himself and the dog. The rabbit was a certain type of food that Brian made stew with. Sometimes he would give the guts to the dog.

S IS FOR STITCHES In order for Brian to help the dog from its cuts from getting infected he used stitches in his first aid kit to close the cuts.

T IS FOR TROUT The trout is a fish that Brian caught during his fishing time. He was on his canoe and this was one of the fish that he caught.

U IS FOR UNDERSTAND Brian needs to understand how nature works in order to stay alive.

V IS FOR VULNERABLE Brian needs to stay vulnerable of his actions incase of a storm or something tries to attack him.

W IS WOUND The wound is the dogs injury that he got. He had cuts and scratches, but Brian helped it out to survive.

X IS FOR EXCITING When Brian killed a rabbit the dog was exited to eat it. It was wagging its tail and when it received the guts from the rabbit it ate it whole. Brian was happy that the dog enjoyed it although it wanted more.

Y IS FOR YOUNG Brian is a young teenage boy who is now a survivor. He hunt, crafted, fished, collected, and helped out anything in need or is in trouble.

Z IS FOR ZANY In this book sometimes Brian would feel weird or odd around others. When he first saw Susan he wasn’t sure if it was her. It was and he ran towards her and saw her. Brian couldn’t understand her so he felt odd being with her. When he understood bear from Susan while frightened he ran off to try and kill it and to protect her from danger.
