3. The characters in this book are Shannon, Cody, Neal, Jackie, and Tyler. Shannon is one of the characters in this story and she was my favorite character. Her personality was like someone who cares for people and she doesn’t just judge people by what they look like and she is a really nice girl. Cody is another character in this book and he has a personality like at one part of the story he cry’s because of an animal that was severally injured. And he loves going on adventures and he is also a very nice person. Neal is another character in this book and his personality is he really cares about animals and he loves hanging out with his niece and nephew. Jackie is the person at the clinic who takes care of the animals when Neal drop’s them off. Her personality is she really cares about the animals and she is very respectful when someone comes to visit. Tyler is also another character and his personality is he is very calm and sometimes he is sad about how is father is treating him but is a very nice boy.

4. The setting in this story The “ Jackies Wild Seattle “ animal clinic.

Problem in the story Tyler’s dad is a really mean person and he has big problems that need to be fixed and he is mean to Tyler, for example when Tyler starts to tell him about all of the animals he’s been working on trying to save his dad doesn’t care and just gets mad at Tyler. Also he abuses him. He is extremely mean to his wife also.

6. Key Events to the story To start with Neal almost cut his entire thumb off but luckily he didn’t. Another thing was that Tyler’s dad set the pigs den on fire and went to jail. Also a bald eagle that got really hurt had to have her wings pined back on because they weren’t strong enough to stay on because of how bad the injury was.

7. The solution to the problem was… While Tyler’s dad was at jail Tyler’s mother called him and put he foot down and said” you know what, I’ve had enough of you and I’m sure that everybody else has to so me and Tyler are moving back to North Carolina with me parents and with out you!

8. Credits This slide was made by Arielle Mrs.Broz’s class 2010 I’m rating this book as a WWW book. WWW means that this was a really good book but it wasn’t the best and that you would probably recommend it to a friend or someone like that. I think that the author did a really nice job with parts of the story where characters needed to express their feelings, I think he really made it clear on how they were feeling at that moment. But what wasn’t great in this book was how they kept saying Jackies name and I was just thinking when are they going to introduce Jackie it’s Jackie Jackie Jackie and I’m like who is Jackie and so I wish that he would have made the order better.
