FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Assure Financial Integrity Enhanced our systems to provide more data and services to researchers, and University leaders. Successful completions of the A-133, annual financial, DOE Program Review and NSF Labor Effort Audits. Implemented a new University Policy on Use of Vehicles.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Increase revenues and maximize resources Award volume for FY grew to $438 million, up by $96 million or 28%. Issued new debt and restructured a portion of the existing debt portfolio to take advantage of current market rates and reduce interest payments. Identified opportunities to reduce the total delivered cost of purchased goods and services while maintaining or improving quality and service. Returned 14.4% on endowment, placing the return in the top quartile of peers.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Support University Strategic Plan Implemented changes necessary to create the new College of Health and Human Sciences. Provided tools to support faculty and staff studying and researching abroad. Strategic Goal: Increase Purdue’s Sustainability Modified personnel policies and supporting processes.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Value our employees and enhance opportunities for excellence Initiated changes to Purdue’s defined contribution retirement plan and voluntary retirement savings programs. Expanded the number and format of training courses to develop essential knowledge and skills.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Improve service delivery Enhanced services to students. Expanded the new Pre-Award support model for the West Lafayette campus. Implemented changes to support new Federal requirements. Reorganized business offices in the College of Health and Human Sciences and the College of Liberal Arts into specialized service centers. Established business office to support the new Human Resources organization under the direction of Purdue's first Vice President for Human Resources.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Enhance key business processes Explored electronic timekeeping solutions. Completed Direct Deposit/Electronic Pay Card initiative. Implemented SAP and Banner enhancements. Modified W2 distribution process.

FY Accomplishments Strategic Goal: Conduct organizational unit/staff assessments Consolidated administrative IT and desktop computing support areas with ITaP. Completed operational reviews and financial analysis of Transportation Services and custodial operations. Merged Purchasing, Accounts Payable/Travel, IT contracting groups.
