More Statistics …  Authority Records Created: Name / Series 99 / Subject 2 Also: 209 Revised / 60 Cross-referenced  In-Process Requests: 791 books  YBP Print Approval Records: 9,914 5,380 DLC / 4,534 Record Creation

Batch Clean-up of Backlog  2,326 books cleared from backlog and sent to shelves!  A file was created with the OCLC numbers for all 2 nd level YBP approval books in the backlog  This file was then run through OCLC, searching for records that were updated to complete records (encoding level “I” or blank). OCLC Bathload Project 2 nd Lvl YBP backlogUpdated records/ Books to stacks FY13 & FY FY

Reduction of Books Being Added to Backlog  As of June 2015, established OCLC Bib Notification Service to receive updated bib records. And,  Established new procedures for 2nd level books copy cataloging. Results: YBP Approval books ReceivedBacklogged % Backlogged Jan % July 2015 with new procedures % The books being added to the backlog are mainly 3 rd level books.

Cataloging Department The remarkable results in:  the amazing results of work accomplished on backlog  number of new titles cataloged  all the withdrawals (Yay!!!)  new projects with DDAs, Diaz-Ayala, D-Panther, etc.  all the clean-up projects  … reflect the outstanding job done by each member of the department and the outstanding teamwork involved!
