Priorities for Japanese Space Policy “Japan’s space policy so far has focused on the aspect of science and technology, that is, development of satellites and rockets. But now, it is required to focus on the aspect of space utilization as a means of solution such as improvement of the quality of people’s lives, safety and national security. Besides, it is important to maintain and develop industrial base to support space utilization.
