Parents Consultation

Changing Educational Climate Small Schools will cease to exist Only way to maintain funding Secure future of our school by ensuring that it survives.

Why Extend? To secure the current schools future (single form entry schools in ten years) We are over subscribed To gain the funding to have more space and better facilities for our existing children. To enable us to give the same educational opportunities to more children

Separate or Together? Two separate schools With their own funding and qualified staff BUT Shared ethos including Christianity Extended but shared playground Shared Facilities: Office and Administration

Why Now? Changing Educational climate Making sure that we are ahead and in control-protecting what we have Opportunity to spread our ethos Ever increasing demand Harbour Development: 1000 houses places (KCC formula)

Finally It is not definite that any of this will happen We are only at the initial stages Opportunities need to be grasped.
