What if Someone took away your Freedom of Speech ? BY CHIMBUSONMA ARINZE - UHUO

What is Freedom of Speech? Freedom of Speech is the right to speak and say what is on your mind without censorship or restraint from the government. Freedom of Speech can also mean speaking your mind and being able to express yourself without being molested, punished, arrested or mocked. Everyone has the right of freedom of speech and people have no right to take it from them.

What if someone took away your Freedom of Speech ? If someone took away my freedom of speech I would not be able to talk to my loved ones. I would want to scream but I can’t, I would want to shout but I can’t, I would want to cry but I can’t, I would want to do it all but I can’t.

What If you take away my Freedom of Speech? So you see, If you take away my freedom of speech I would cry every day of my life until I get a sore throat but I still wouldn’t be able to talk. Your freedom of speech is a great thing. If you take mine I would be sad all the rest of my life. I would be so mad at the person who took my freedom of speech and my face would turn from white to red!!!

Advantages of Freedom of Speech So if someone took away my freedom of speech these are some advantages I would not have. It allows people to express their opinions openly without fear. The potential for exposure to new ideas. The right to say what you think. It is seen as a basic right. You are a free bird and your thought process has no limit.

Although everything that has an advantage has a disadvantage, freedom of speech can sometimes be abused. That not withstanding, the benefits of freedom of speech can not be over-emphasized, therefore should not be taken away. Thank you !!!
