5 20 th May 2011 Agile LCM Release Agile LCM – Overview −Initiate Project Common process used “as is” Agile Specific – Boot camp activity is added −Perform Iteration Zero The purpose of this process is to establish and validate the architecture of the solution and project strategy. This process is executed in one or more time-boxed iterations/SPRINT depending on the project needs. The Perform iteration/Sprint0 (Zero) Process sets the ground for proceeding for release plan and execution. −Define Project Process Common process used “ as is” Agile Specific – Tailoring Report and WBS added −Plan and Execute Sprint The purpose of the Sprint planning and execution is to turn a set of product backlog into an increment of potentially shippable product functionality in project. This involves tracking and reviewing the accomplishments and results against estimates task and plans. This also includes taking corrective actions and adjusting the sprint/project plans based on the actual results along with Agile Metrics. Category : LCM - Release

6 20 th May 2011 Agile LCM Release Agile LCM – Overview −Develop Sprint Sprint Development Process is applied to design, build and test the solution for a particular feature / user story / task in the Sprint Backlog. This process is repeated daily during the Sprint until all items in the Sprint Backlog have been addressed. −Close Sprint Ensure that the work completed in this Sprint has been reviewed and reworked as needed. Collect lessons learned from the work performed to influence future Sprint behavior. −Release System Common process used “as is” Agile Specific – Cross Capability activity added −Deploy System Common process used “as is” Agile Specific - Cut Over for Limited Release & Full Release activity added −Close Project Common process used “as is” Category : LCM - Release

7 20 th May 2011 Agile LCM Release Agile LCM – Action Required New projects desiring to use agile development methodology to select this LCM in their Project Defined Process (PDP) Projects currently following the Software Engineering – Water Fall LCM desiring to migrate to the Agile LCM may do so. Category : LCM - Release

CSS analysis and appropriate Corrective/Preventive action report to be created if the values for any individual survey question is Extremely Dissatisfied, Very Dissatisfied & Dissatisfied attributes or if the over all CSI score is less than the account or organization threshold Category : Process - Modifications
