CAUTION: Use Tastefully Transitions Should be consistent between slides Should “fit” the topic of the presentation Should not feel awkward Clipart Take the “less is more” approach Should be used as a visual aid Should not distract from the information Should relate to and support information Color Be consistent Use themes Not too dark Use appropriate colors for topic and audience Sound effects Should not be a distraction Again “less is more” Incorporated at appropriate times
