Do you know? By 2015, an estimated 40-48% of new non-residential construction by value will be green, equating to a $ billion opportunity.

Green building design helps people to increase the efficiency of building usage by reducing the architectural impacts on human health and the environment over the entire life cycle of the building.

According to the U.S. Green Building Council, buildings account for:  36% of total energy use and 65% of electricity consumption.  30% of greenhouse gas emissions.  30% of raw materials use.  30% of waste output (136 million tons annually).  12% of potable water consumption.

Save More Energy Implementing green building designs reduces operating costs and improves occupant productivity. Green building designs results in net zero energy buildings and this acts as a way to significantly reduce our dependence on fossil fuel-derived energy.

Protects and Conserves Water Nowadays fresh water is becoming a very scarce resource and the effort to bring drinkable water to our household faucets consumes enormous energy resources in pumping, transport, and treatment. Sustainable building uses water efficiently, and reuse or recycle water for on-site use, whenever possible.

Other Benefits  Optimize Site Potential.  Optimize Building Space and Material Use.  Enhance Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).  Minimize strain on local utility infrastructure.  Improve overall quality of life.
