How to use Both Washers and Dryers at Westbury Animal Hospital and where they are located in our Hospital Main Building Washer and Dryer Annex Washer and Dryer

Main Building Dryer  First you will need to check the dryer lint area and clean out the lint.  Open the door for the lint area and swipe your hand across the lint screen (You will need to get down on the floor for this, and you must clean the lint screen before every use of the dryer) Throw the lint in the trash and place the door back on the dryer (If the door is not on correctly the dryer will not start).  Fill the dryer with the wet bedding and towels and press the start button.

Main Building Washer  First you will need to load the washer with bedding and towels until it is full.  Then you will need to close the door. Please make sure the door is closed tight.  Next you will need to add ¾ cup of detergent into the chamber labeled for the detergent.  Then 1 cup of bleach into the chamber labeled for the bleach.  Now make sure the washer digital display reads cycle 2.  Then press start.

Annex Dryer  First you will need to check the dryer lint area and clean out the lint.  Open the door for the lint area and swipe your hand across the lint screen (You will need to get down on the floor for this, and you must clean the lint screen before every use of the dryer) Throw the lint in the trash and place the door back on the dryer (If the door is not on correctly the dryer will not start).  Fill the dryer with the bedding and towels and press the start button.

Annex Washer  To open the washer you will need to press the white switch at the same time as the red button on the door handle and twist the handle toward the ground. The door will open.  Fill the washer with the bedding and towels and close the door by twisting the handle up (make sure the door is closed tight).  Next you will need to add ¾ cup of detergent into the chamber labeled for the detergent.  Then 1 cup of bleach into the chamber labeled for the bleach.  The washer should be on cycle 2 or permanent press and press start. Start Button press the white switch at the same time as the red button on the door handle and twist the handle toward the ground.
