Task Conducting a survey In order to conduct a survey, what kinds of things should we take into consideration? How do we collect information, by surfing the net or by making a questionnaire? Can you tell me how to construct a questionnaire? Are there any rules for us to follow? When a questionnaire is completed, what should we do with it? Do you know how to conduct an interview? Do you think it important to interview persons in appropriate ways?

Task Conducting a survey The rules to conduct a survey: 1. Ask one piece of information at a time. 2. Use short and simple sentences. 3. Avoid negative sentences. 4. Use precise language. 5. Give specific references. 6. Make sure people have the necessary knowledge to answer.

3 What does a Yeti look like? 4 What do scientists think of Yetis? It looks like a human but it has thick black fur and is about six feet tall with huge shoulders, very long arms and large hands. They convince that Yetis exist while studying the footprints.

Find main idea of each paragraph: Para 1: Yetis are reported to have been seen all over the world. Para 2-4: Descriptions of Yetis in different places. Para 5-6: Scientists’ different opinions abort Yetis. Para 7: Scientists hope to find the truth.

Producing 1.Follow the outline and write the story. 2.Proofread the story, correct any mistakes and add any new ideas you can think of. 3.Revise the story based on the suggestions. 4.Draw pictures that represent places, characters or events in the story.
