Warhol Works – Marilyn Diptych  The twenty-five pictures on the left side of the diptych are brightly coloreddiptych  The twenty-five on the right are in black and white. It has been suggested that the relation between the left side of the canvas and the right side of the canvas is evocative of the relation between the celebrity's life and death. [1][2][3] [1][2][3]  The painting was named the third most influential piece of modern art in a survey of 500 artists, critics, and others. [5] [5]

Warhol Works – Coca-Cola Bottles  During the 1960s that Warhol began to make paintings of iconic American objects such as dollar bills, mushroom clouds, electric chairs, Campbell's Soup Cans, Coca-Cola bottles, celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Marlon Brando, Troy Donahue, Muhammad Ali, and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as newspaper headlines or photographs of police dogs attacking civil rights protesters. mushroom cloudselectric chairs Campbell's Soup CansCoca-ColaMarilyn MonroeElvis PresleyMarlon Brando Troy DonahueMuhammad Ali Elizabeth Taylorcivil rights  During these years, he founded his studio, "The Factory" and gathered about him a wide range of artists, writers, musicians, and underground celebrities. His work became popular and controversial. Warhol had this to say about Coca Cola:The Factory

“ ” What's great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coca-Cola, Liz Taylor drinks Coca-Cola, and just think, you can drink Coca-Cola, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the bums knows it, and you know it. [30] [30]

Silk Screen Process  A mesh cloth is used to transfer ink except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed.  id= D8B250C D8B250C73&rvsmid= D8B250C D8B250C73#view=detail&mid= D8B250C D8B250C73 id= D8B250C D8B250C73&rvsmid= D8B250C D8B250C73#view=detail&mid= D8B250C D8B250C73  id=9DDAF152620AAB62FB079DDAF152620AAB62FB07&rvsmid=9DDAF152620AAB62FB079DDAF AAB62FB07#view=detail&mid=9DDAF152620AAB62FB079DDAF152620AAB62FB07
