Andy Warhol was an American pop artist; whose work explored the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisements.
He started his career as a commercial illustrator. He used many forms of media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, silk screening, sculpture, film, and music. The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, holds a large collection of art and archives. It is the largest museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist.
