The Story so far … Various presentations at international conferences regarding archiving activities IFLA satellite meeting 2014, BULAC: Panel Discussion on Collaborative Storage (Australia/New Zealand, Austria, France, UK, USA/Canada)Panel Discussion on Collaborative Storage Joint publication “Collections Earning Their Keep. An Overview of International Archiving Initiatives“ (DOI: / ) / Discussions on international level showed that due to differences in legal, organizational and financial frameworks focusing on Europe seemed more feasible for successful cooperation. EPICo ???

Mission Statement We believe that a comprehensive and robust research and information infrastructure is essential for Europe’s wellbeing, now and in the future. We are concerned that, at a time of unprecedented change in the ways information is collected, stored and disseminated, there is a real danger that some of the important printed resources in our European libraries may be at risk. In view of this we intend to initiate a number of plans. EPICo ???
