To understand the role of marketing metrics within the organisation and establish how an understanding of a range of measurement techniques can enable organisations to achieve marketing insights and strategic decision making. To understand how measurement techniques can establish and determine the effectiveness of marketing activities as well as utilising appropriate analytics tools and techniques to ensure effective marketing decision making.

13 Oxford Professional Education Group Ltd The Assignment Process The CIM will publish the assignment briefs 6 months prior to each board; December, March and June You can access the assignment papers and timetables in the ‘Assignment’ section within your unit on Oxcom Learning The timetables have a full list of all the internal deadlines that need to be met in order to complete within the recommended CIM guidelines Key documents you must access for your assignment submission are: —Relevant Assignment Briefing —Relevant Assessment Timetable —CIM Assignment Template —CIM Page Count Policy Document —Final submission check list

14 Oxford Professional Education Group Ltd The Assignment Process Register for the assignment session Apply for a tutor here: allocation-form/ allocation-form/ Listen to assignment briefings webinars —You will be advised of dates nearer the time Submit an assignment plan to your tutor Show your proposed structure and you have understood the task About 30% of the page count for each task Book assessment entry (see later slide) Assignment draft submission —100% of page count for the assessment. Final submission —Follow the final submission instructions and final submission check lists.

15 Oxford Professional Education Group Ltd CIM Assessment Entry You must register to the relevant board for the assessment of each assignment/Portfolio and exams. This is an additional fee to the annual membership fee. This can be completed online on the CIM Website: or by post by completing an “Assessment Entry Form” with payment to the CIM membership department. Key assessment entry deadlines for 2015/2016: December October (booking deadline) 26 February 2016 (results) March February 2016 (booking deadline) 17 June 2016 (results) June June 2016 (booking deadline) 23 September 2016 (results)
