A lot of school students miss school because they just don’t want to get up! That might lead to them dropping out of school. Most likely, kids who dropout have very little food because it is hard to get a well paying job without much education. How can we fix this?

What is Breakfast Buddies? Breakfast Buddies is a before school program where a school bus picks up kids early in the morning. Then the bus brings them to a local soup kitchen to eat breakfast. The buses will take them to school ensuring them to go. Also the kids won’t be off focus because they are hungry. The kids also can watch T.V or do homework while they enjoy their breakfast.

What are the details? You might think that this program is too good and that there must be a trick! But there is not. It’s free. The first 70 kids per semester to sign up get to join this program and the kids from earlier semesters also get these benefits until they graduate. Benefactors help donate to the Breakfast Buddies. Each semester all the kids involved with Breakfast Buddies, need to make a lemonade stand, a car wash, or anything else creative to help fund Breakfast Buddies.
