Of Mice and Men Picture Poem Look at the book cover. What does the color, lighting, and positioning tell us? Why do you think they are in nature? Write a poem describing the cover of the novel. It must be at least 5 lines long. There needs to be at least one color and light reference.

Find Your Muse Find a picture at home, or come by tomorrow to cut one out of a magazine. Pick one picture to write a poem on. Why did you pick this picture? Tell the story of the picture in your poem. What do you see happening?
