3 Lesson Plan Website Read Write Think – This website has a vast amount of information. For the K-2 teacher you can really hone in on reading skills. There are some great lesson plans to get your students expanding their vocabulary.
4 Student-to-Expert Communication Websites Ask Dr. Math – What is great about this website is parents, students and teachers can use it. This website also does a great job of making you think outside of the box with numbers.
5 Real Time and Recorded Data Nest Cams – dexhttp:// dex This is a great site for all ages. Lower elementary kids can get a great idea of birds in their natural environment. This website is an in class field trip!
6 Archival and Primary Source Website National History Education Clearinghouse – This website is very user friendly. It can be used for all grade levels and it does a nice job of incorporating history with other subjects such as ELA.
7 Skills/Practice Websites PBS Kids and PBS Kids Lab – A great site for at home learning. I’ve personally used this with my own children. Games and activities that mask the “education” in it.
