8  An Acquisition Lesson Plan is a plan for the concept, topic or skill ---Not for the Day.  Since these lesson plans are based upon concepts and topics, they are ultimately based upon our Essential Questions for our units and lessons.

9  Do we have a shared vision of what teaching and learning should look like?

10  Silently, in one corner of the chart paper (outside of the circle), record the components you feel should be found in a great lesson.  1 minute Pause …

11  Take about 3-5 minutes to discuss your ideas with your group.  Do your ideas reflect current research in education?  Do your ideas reflect the vision of ACCRS?

12  In your groups, write inside the circle (using 15 words or less), the important components of a good lesson.  When time is up, each group will share their thoughts.
