Flow Controls Controls speed by metering the air into or out of an actuator Fixed Orifice Variable Orifice

Fixed Orifice Flow Control Has a hole drilled of a specific size Should not be removed or changed to a variable type!

Variable Orifice Flow Control Can be adjusted Sometimes referred to as a needle valve

Flow Control With Internal Check Valves

Flow Controls With Internal Check Valves Allows free flow in one direction and controlled flow in the opposite direction Flow control connected in rod side of the cylinder

Flow Controls With Internal Check Valves Allows free flow in one direction and controlled flow in the opposite direction Flow control connected in rod side of the cylinder

Flow Control Troubleshooting Flow controls are trash catchers! Turn the adjustment several turns CCW, then attempt to move the actuator several times. Reset the valve to its original setting.
