The Mediterranean Climate By Eli Weiss

Where in the world is it?

What are the ranges in temperature and precipitation? Medium, as shown below:

What latitude ranges is the climate region found in? It’s found between 30 o and 45 o degree latitude

Characteristics and features of the climate region The mediteranean houses many wild life such as: goats; sheep; cattle; mouflon, and horses. Also, the land supports lynx, wild boar, rabbits, vultures and three types of eagles. Plus, many small mammals, reptiles and insects inhabit this region.

But wait, there’s more… Evergreens such as Pine and Cypress trees are mixed with deciduous tress such as some Oaks. Fruit trees and vines such as grapes, figs, olives, and citrus fruits grow well here.
