8 years’ Primary education is COMPULSORY in Turkey. Both boys and girls have to attend Primary Schools. After primary school,students have an exam to have education in some secondary schools. There is a university entrance exam for all the students who finish secondary school /high school. They attend university according to grades they get at the exam.

Students learn English beginning at primary school 4th grade. At Anatolian High Schools they learn generally English and German. At some schools French is taught,as well. However, mostly English is taught at schools in Turkey. Our students learn grammar well at school,but unfortunately they don’t have much opportunity to practise outside school,so they find speaking difficult in the target language. Our students are very enthusiastic about communicating other cultures. They are eager to take part in the European Union Project and welcome friends abroad.

OPEN EDUCATION HIGH SCHOOL It serves to students who could not attend formal education institutions due to various reasons or to those who are not in the formal education age. Delivery of Free Course Books Coursebooks are delivered to all students free of charge in all primary and secondary schools.

HIGHER EDUCATION Higher education comprises of the education institutions at every stage based on secondary education with a duration of at least two years.
