An intranet allows school staff to centrally store important information (i.e. Policies, Programs, Notes, Calendars, Meeting Agendas, Staff Welfare Info, Student Welfare Info, Pictures, PowerPoint Presentations, Word Documents, Publisher Documents, PDF Documents etc) that can be readily accessed by the appropriate people. An intranet can be a great motivator for students as their work can be easily showcased.
