Times have changed… But we can’t rewind the clock  The Evolution of Classroom Technology The Evolution of Classroom Technology  How many do you remember?  How many have you used while teaching?

What’s the Matter with Kids Today?  How are kids using technology in today’s culture?  How is the media culture affecting their ability to learn in a traditional classroom?  How can we as educators adapt to the needs of a new generation of learners?

We Can Never Go Back to Before  How are you reacting to the new fervor for tech in the classroom?  Do you feel you excel or struggle with integrating new media into your instruction?

Wherever we go, Whatever we do, We’re gonna go through it together  Share strategies you are using now/ ideas you have for tech integration in the theatre classroom.

Let’s Start at the Very Beginning  The internet at our fingertips is a good thing if used wisely and appropriately.  We are in a unique position to teach 21 st century skills, particularly as pertain to communication- research and presentation skills, video writing/editing, organization and time management, critical thinking and problem solving.  Technology is our students’ future, we must make it a critical element of our teaching.
