Percussion * The percussion instruments include snare drum, bells, xylophone, timpani, bass drum, cymbals, and many other accessory instruments. * Two years of piano lessons are strongly recommended for percussion. * Percussion candidates must select a wind instrument in their first interview. * At their second interview, they will audition for percussion.

Possible Class Conflicts? I In 7th & 8th grade, Band students may also participate in athletics. B Band Directors work proactively with coaches and sponsors of other organizations. Band kids are the most active on campus.
