The Tuchola Pinewoods are a land of uniquely beautiful landscape. This is the kingdom of blue streams and lakes. They delight their power and majesty, not only the nature. The Tuchola Pinewoods cover more than 250 thousands hectares of forest. The Tuchola Pinewoods

Interesting facts When we are in the Tuchola Forest we should visit the Swamp Grzybna, nature reserve. Interestingly, there are also: Tleń – the fishing village located next to forests and the expense of water. Now, this is a tourist resort. Mątwa – the river which is flowing from the matasek lake. It is very beautiful- the lake is in the shape of the letter U Kuźnica – the nature reserve. this is to protect the swamps and the pines. Osiecza – the holiday village on the Prusina river. People who live there are called Borowiaki.

Continued curiosities Viewpoint: People, who want to relax and rest, can look down on the Tuchola Pinewoods. They have to go to the viewpoint which is next to the Charzykowskie Lake. A island is called the Bachorska Island or the Love Island on this lake.

Shape and location of area The Tuchola Forest National Park is located in North Poland in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The area was formed after the last ice age. There are sandy plains and lake channels in this forest. There are 21 lakes in the Tuchola Pinewoods.

History The Tuchola Pinewoods were created in It is one of 23 National Parks in Poland. The protect of Nature in Tuchola has a long tradition. There is a short distance from the forester's lodge in Bachorz. On July 3rd 2009, it had undergone renovations, and now it is protect against damage. This is stored in the Tuchola Pinewoods National Park. It is waiting for a decent place that is provided in part of the museum designed and Education Centre - Life Sciences Chocinski Mlyn.

Animal World There live a lot of varied species of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and insects in the Tuchola Forest National Park.
