Presentation transcript:

After a chaotic 6 weeks we are very happy to at last be able to show off our centre. A huge big thank you to all of the joiners, painters, floor layers and project leaders. But especially grateful thanks to parents for your patience, staff team and the children who had to cope with the upheaval. WIMBERLEY RENOVATIONS

Where to start ? Baby room 1 st, All Move!!!! Thank you to Christine for donating white walls for easy clean surfaces in the baby room.

Big Room: this was a huge upheaval for all, lots of moving of furniture but well worth it.

The children are enjoying safe, clean and extended floor space created.

BIG ROOM Vinyl flooring, a lot of rearranging of furniture and a lick of paint and finally we are finished. We now have an amazing space that staff and parents can be proud of. Hard to imagine before and after. There is now clear notice boards on which to display all the children’s learning. The staff team are maximising opportunities for learning with defined areas of the room and the children have space and freedom to explore, learn and play. More exciting is that we now have an outdoor classroom that will offer further opportunities for learning and development outside, whatever the weather.

THE GARDEN from this WET AND ALWAYS MUDDY,IN NEED OF SOME TLC

DIGGERS ARRIVE, not sure who was more excited Jayne or the children!!!

Old gazebo removed and replaced by an amazing outdoor classroom……

to this ….AMAZING TRANSFORMATION

A special thank you to John the joiner, who made a fantastic job of outdoor classroom amongst many other jobs that Jayne found him.

What a difference, thank you to Pat for sourcing new boards Easy to forget how dowdy reception area was Now we have a bright welcoming area to start the day

Think it’s safe to say that the children are using the new garden space with excitement

WIMBERLEY ESTATE CHILDCARE CENTRE Finished but not yet complete, lots of planting and growing to do, perhaps a climbing frame, slide or swing ? We will keep you posted but in the meantime please leave a comment to let us know what you think of the renovations.
