Is a career in computers right for me? To determine if a career in computers is right for someone you need to identify what makes a computer job right for anyone, is it as simple as liking to work with them or is being good with them a better reason, or maybe you don’t know anything about them but you want a future with computers and are taking the time to learn. Since there are many reasons to have a job with computers you should come up with algorithms to help you decide how to solve the problem.

One way you could decide if a computer related job is right for you is to research the jobs that involve computers and see if any of them interest you or cater to what you want to do with a computer. A website designer earns money by designing custom websites for customers, to do this you need to be able to code html at an advanced level to make sure you can make the website just as they want, If you are into game design you also need to be an advanced coder or you could do graphic designs and create the characters. Doing research on jobs is key to finding one that you like and not being stuck with one that you despise.

One great way to determine if a computer related job is right for you is applying for an apprenticeship at a company that involves computers. This shows exactly what you will do and what options are available at this specific place, if nothing interests you at this place then you can quit and apply for somewhere else. Not only will you see what happens, but you can also participate and actually try out what you will be doing and can see if a computer job is even a good choice for you. Another way to solve this problem is by trying to do some computer jobs independently and seeing if you can kick start a business by yourself doing what computer job interests you. One really easy job to do is website design, you only need html coding and you can make any type of website for your clients. You could also charge people to remove viruses and install programs on their computers

The algorithm I will be testing is starting a business on your own helping people out with computer related tasks that they are not experienced enough to do(the third algorithm). For the job, I will be helping people install an operating system and removing viruses, this will improve computer skills and give insight into what it is like to be in a computer related job.

The best part about algorithm 3 is that you can build a business and keep doing what you are doing with this algorithm, If you like helping people with website building and installing OS’s and getting rid of viruses than you can stick with it and continue working on your own and maybe build your own company and start something instead of working somewhere else.

The general overview on this algorithm is that you can start your own business and work with computers on your own or with others and make money doing computer related things independently. To refine this algorithm you should start with at least 2 others to always be able to provide services to customers and create a website to help promote your business.
