 Peer Advising on the College Experience (PACE):  Peer Mentors assist multicultural students in adjusting academically and socially  Peer Mentors provide students with information about services offered through the University of Idaho and encourage students to utilize these services  Peer Mentors are models of academic responsibility, community involvement, and multicultural leadership  Academic advising to students in academic jeopardy

 Fall Start-up Activities  Latino Heritage Month  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Black History Month  Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month  Other Workshops and Cultural Events: *OMA partners with others for Native American History Month and LGBTQ Month  End of the Year Events

 In a period of ten years, our multicultural student population has consistently grown each year. The Hispanic population has the biggest growth of 128% over this period.  Challenges:  Loss of AmeriCorps-Due to federal cuts

 We are asking for $.16 increase  Keep up with increases to the health benefit rates and funding of Changes in Employee Compensation (CEC) estimated at 3% for FY16.

 Director: Now- Have in Interim Director—search for this position will be this spring semester- new salary with 3% increase: ▪ CEC: $1,300 from student fees ▪ Health Benefit Rate: ($700 x 30%)= $210  Academic Retention Specialist: Temporary, 9 month full- time position  CEC: $16,000 x 3%= $480  Health Benefit Rate: $700 x 75%= $525  Total: $2,515
