Social Media and Social network Term refers to combination of webs, applications, platforms, channels and tool that power the phenomena of peer to peer communication and peer to masses.

It is the integration of technology and social interaction. When you see social media, think blogs, Facebook, and Twitter. The best explanation for social media is that it’s word of mouth on steroids, and people are sharing more than words. They also share ideas, pictures, video, and audio: Content. Then other users share that content — in turn, through personal connections — at an unprecedented rate. How does social media work?

Characteristics of Social Media Participation Encourage the people to contribute and give the feed back those who are interested. Openness Social media provide the open service to give the comments, participate, voting and share the information. Conversation Social media is two way communications in which you add something in any articles and give the feed to author and also give your suggestions. Provide the facility to debating on different topic Community Social media allows communities to inform quickly and communicate effectively. In which share the interesting information, thoughts and feelings. Connected Social media connected the people and decrease distances among the people and also share the daily activity, ideas and interesting information.

Udi Burg’s blog  Have you read this one: ‘China has just blocked the option to search the word ‘Egypt’ on the online searching engines and social networks, on grounds of an aspired attempt to organize a demonstration against the government.”  An Egyptian father has named his daughter ‘Facebook’, as a way of thanking the site for its role in helping protesters organise the demonstrations.”  But the whole story becomes entangled, and not for Israel’s best interests, when the only possible replacement for Mubarak is the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’, who’s not considered a big fan of Israel. And what will happen if they will take over? I guess I shouldn’t scare the already scared among us, but I can tell you that good won’t come out of it”.
