Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education

1. 1.1. EUA Trends 2015 Learning and Teaching in European Universities: Universities in the next decade (Part V) Maintaining the momentum: the importance of learning and teaching Development and implementation of effective internationalisation strategies are of strong interest to universities. It requires them to consider the benefits, consequences and risks of different approaches, including the costs involved and sustainability prospects and to reflect on the proper balance between cooperation and competition with other universities. The positive and negative impacts of specific national strategies for internationalisation of higher education also need to be taken into consideration, particularly when these are defined narrowly as national instruments of economic competitiveness or political diplomacy.
