Format League starts 15 Sept 2013 There will be five ‘blocks’ of football Each block lasts for approx 6-weeks Each block culminates with a ‘Competition Day’ Leading up to Competition Day, teams will play development matches [fixtures set by the League] The five Competition Days will be held at a central venue. Under 7s
Structure Any development matches not played will be voided ( there will be no fines). Results must be submitted to website BUT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED - the site will simply say ‘ Cardiff played Swansea’ Winners of Competition Day matches will be shown in gold letters – Swansea ‘ Stoke played Swansea’ Under 7s

Rules Teams will be 5 –a-side Maximum duration of matches will be 20 minutes each way 4 x 10 minute quarters are allowed in development matches It is strongly encouraged that all match day players have at least 50% of time on the pitch. The recommended size of the pitch is 40 x 30yds Posts should be 12’ x 6’ Under 7s

Structure 2) Semi- finals The 1 st place teams from each group will play each other in ‘Diamond Semi-Finals’ The 2 nd place teams from each group will play each other in ‘Ruby Semi-Finals’ The 3 rd place teams from each group will play each other in ‘Emerald Semi-Finals’ The 4 th place teams from each group will play each other in ‘Sapphire Semi-Finals’ Under 9s

Finals Day This will be at a central venue Finals Day will be set at start of season and is not negotiable (11 May 2014) Awards will be presented to all finalists ( no awards for losing semi-finalists) No other cup competition will run Under 9s
Structure On completion of Mini-Season1, all results are closed. Mini-Season 2 will see groups re-drawn and the same format followed. Under 9s

Format 1) LEAGUE There will possibly be 20 teams They will again be split into 3 divisions League fixtures will run from to Under 11s

Format 1) CUP For the remainder of the season, a Champions League cup competition will be held. This will replace the conventional cup. The Final will be held 11 May 2014 After league fixtures have finished, teams will be drawn into Groups ( A, B, C and D) A team will play the others in its Group once only. Under 11s
Finals The winners of each group will be drawn and will play each other on Finals Day Thus Group A winner will play Group C winner etc Awards will be presented to all finalists Finals Day 11 May 2014 Under 11s
Rules Teams will be 9–a-side Maximum duration of matches will be 30 minutes each way The recommended size of the pitch is 80 x 50yds Posts should be 16’ x 7’ Size 4 footballs used Linesman with flags are required Under 11s
U12s
The proposal is that the U12s will run the same as the U11s: A league finishing in February A Champions League style cup starting after the League This produces less league fixtures ( and possible jam) This provides new teams to play for clubs in that league Under 12s
