OTHER FEEDBACK Respect Some Managers not wearing identifiable bibs No need for complete management teams to wear the bibs Managers should approach referee before match and participate in handshake Consensus for before match only, and not at under 16 level. Discipline 68% of clubs that responded said they had a good discipline record 9% of clubs said they had a poor record First Aid 68% of clubs have dedicated person for first aid

11. OTHER FEEDBACK Referees A lot of clubs have responded to say that the referees used at juvenile level are too young and therefore inexperienced. Referees should explain decisions to the players on the pitch. Use of neutral umpires. Some referees allow too much physicality for juvenile matches. Clubs should support their own referees, when they are allocated to matches. B (and C) Team Grading These teams should be in their own divisions Clubs are abusing grading and holding stronger players for use on both A&B teams Proposal to grade for both A and B teams and limit movement between teams

12. THINGS TO IMPROVE UPON… Under 12s Limit matches to 5 goals Play every week Double league Avoid clashes with other sports on Saturdays Non competitive matches/league Winter matches Under 14s Avoid clashes with other sports on Saturdays Play every week Play championships after leagues

THINGS TO IMPROVE UPON… Under 16s Play championships after leagues Avoid issues with overlap of players Play on Tuesdays for Minors Play on Thursday for Under 16s Alternate weeks with Minors/Under 16s… single league… Player burnout issues Holiday period – reintroduce? All Semi Finals & Finals in September A & B teams play in 2 different venues at the same time

SOME PROPOSED CHANGES FOR 2016 Fewer fixture changes Fewer conceded matches Match change- how this is communicated Address disciplinary issues Clubs get used to playing without their players if necessary Continue U12 rule about abuse to referee? New rules re U11/U12 with enforced subs Spring League- fewer games and earlier? More “real” matches
