During these years, our institute was in coordination or subordinated to the Ministry of Tourism, or function as an independent body for promotion of tourism at national level. DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES AND PLANS: The national strategy of developing ecotourism in Romania; Master-plan of tourism development on the Prahova valley, mountain area; Study concerning the elaboration of the tourism development strategy for the south area of the Romanian seashore; The development project of tourism in the Danube area - The cruises on the Danube programme;

We will contribute to the institutionalization of heritage interpretation and we will transfer the good practices. We will disseminate the project results across the country, as a national level actor.

Role: It will facilitate the collaboration and communication with national cultural institutes with private actors or NGO’s and through its network will ensure the long term viability of the project.
