Hungarian Educational System NEW ACT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION: ACT 2011/CXC.  3.§ (6) some of the roles of public education mentioned are early childhood development, special needs education, education of disadvantaged groups  There are two kinds of institutions are in the field of special education: a, multipurpose schools: special development for multiple disabilities, and support/assistance for inclusive education at schools b, institutions with (special) pedagogical services: services of specialists, assistant work in the schools (different goals: early childhood intervention, speech teraphist, etc.)

SEN in Hungarian Educational System

ICT in Hungarian Educational System  Started with local development in the 2000s (smartboards, educational softwares, etc)  Now: 1000 Euros in EU development founds: elementary education development, secondary education projects, higher education projects.  Hungarian Educational Authority started a methodological webpage for ICT developments.  Educatio has lots of improvements: eTwinning, teacher courses, teacher social networks, IntelEssentials trainings

ICT in SEN,Hungary  Needs to improve!  Special schools, multipurpose schools: starting in small, innovation-oriented groups and expanding year by year. „Development centers”: -Eötvös Lóránd University, Faculty of Education and Psychology: ICT for Teachers courses, -Eötvös Lóránd University, Faculty of Special Education: ICT for Special Teachers courses, -Duráczky EGYMI: Special school for hearing impaired children, Kaposvár: development/working group in the field of SEN ICT: teacher courses (Smartboard, programs: Lapoda, etc) -EU developments: particular attention to tools to SEN students using ICT (all developments should be accessible by SEN students) -LLL projects: participating in eFesto (Leonardo da Vinci project): special bilingual teaching materials for hearing impaired people. -Autism-centered developments, tools: supporting independent living skills.
