Future Careers Assignment Careers I’d like to experience: 1)Police Officer 2)Electrician 3)Elementary School Teacher

Police Officer Education Requirements:  High school  Simon Fraser University  Bachelor of Arts in Criminology  Cost $  It will take 4 years  First Aid Certificate  CPR certificate  Athletic ability

Police Officer Annual Salary: $ $ A Police Officer’s environment is on the streets of Vancouver. It is an ideal place for me to work because I’ve grown up here, and I know my way around. I like helping people deal with their problems. Also I’m a respectful, polite person interested in the safety of others. Related Careers  Security officer  Group home leader  Prison Guard

Electrician Education requirements:  High school  five year apprenticeship  Construction Electrician Red Seal certificate  Minimum wages during the training

Electrician An electrician’s work place varies on what kind of electrician you want to be. I personally would like to work on construction, but I wouldn't mind working domestically because I like setting up wires (if you saw my room you’d know what I mean) Related jobs:  Domestic electrician  Construction electrician  Line operator Annual Salary: $ $70 000

Elementary School Teacher Education requirements:  High School  Bachelors University Degree  Teacher Education Professional Year at University  Cost including living expenses $70,000

Elementary School Teacher The working environment requires excellent personal skills, a sense of humour and respect for everyone. Starting Annual Salary: $35, 000+ Related jobs:  Pre-School Teacher  Elementary School Administrator

An electrician requires the least people skills and would be the least expensive in terms of education and training. It has the potential of making more money than my other career choices. The job satisfaction might not be as rewarding as jobs working and helping others. A police officer and elementary school teacher require years of post secondary education and I am apprehensive about that. I think I would enjoy the jobs.
