McCall was an illustrator for Life magazine in the 1960s. Life He worked on movies such as 2001: A Space Odyssey and Tora! Tora! Tora!2001: A Space OdysseyTora! Tora! Tora! McCall was also production illustrator on Star Trek: The Motion Picture.Star Trek: The Motion Picture Early Work
