THE HUNGER GAMES Author: Suzanne Collins New York times bestselling author

The Setting The setting of the hunger games begins in district 12,of the country of Panam, but that all changes when Katniss Evergreen fills in for her sister for the 74 th annual hunger games. From home to a battle field.

This is Katniss Evergreen, the main character in the movie the hunger games and her purpose is to stay alive and not to die. She is a fierce competitor and has been close to death many times. So I think she will do pretty good. This is Peeta Mellark, another contestant in the hunger games. Just like Katniss he is from district 12 and secretly has a crush on her. See what happens to him, will he die or will Katniss save him. And this is haymich Katniss`s and peeta`s trainer and adviser. In the games he tells the people what to send to keep Katniss and Peeta alive. Will he keep them alive or starve them find out in the book. 3 Main characters of the story.

Surviving and Winning: In the Hunger Games, Katniss is constantly running from fire, and strangers trying to kill her with spears, swords and knives. She solves those problems by outsmarting her enemies and making allies with Peeta, winning the hunger games and staying alive.

Compliments I would say if you are looking for a great trilogy book this is the place to start. On a 1-5 rating, I would give it a 4.8. I think if you love trilogies, you won’t be able to put this book down. I am looking forward to the second book- The Hunger Games: Catching fire, I hope you are too. Sparks will fly!
