Multi-level action is very common. The audience watches one scene occur at the foreground while another occurs at the background.

Depth Staging One character is usually up-close (MCU, CU); the other character is far behind him at a distance.

Discovery Any shot that begins away from the action and then the camera movement that reveals a scene 1. Camera begins behind the obstacle and then moves out from behind to discover the true subject of interest 2. Shot begins with camera looking at nothing in particular and then gradual movement revels the action

Pull Back Reveal Camera moves backwards to reveal the true extent of the scene. Gradually expands our understanding of character's surroundings

Spin Around Circling the camera around the scene in progress Might be referred to as “360 degree” dolly Adds energy to a scene

Point of View (POV) Audience sees exactly what the character in a film sees. Audience is drawn into subjective experience of a person on screen Audience might be more emotionally attached.
