After SATS we decided to make money for a good cause by entering the Blythswood Enterprise Challenge. As a class of 21, we came up with a massive list of fundraising ideas:

Bikeathon Bikeathon Wacky Hair Day Wacky Hair Day Frozen Sing-A-Long Frozen Sing-A-Long Cake and Bake Sale Cake and Bake Sale Penny Collection Penny Collection Badge Making Badge Making FUNDRAISING IDEAS

To raise money for Blythswood Care we came up with many ideas to make a large profit. We advertised and made posters. We worked together as a team.

When we had planned our ideas for the fund-raising scheme we had to organise the dates with our Head teacher, Mrs Cunningham. She told us the exact dates after looking in a very busy diary..Bikeathon- 23 rd June.Wacky Hair Day- 26 th June.Frozen Sing-Along- 29 th and 30 th June.Cake and Bake Sale- 17 th and 18 th June.Penny Collection- 26 th June.Badge Making- 16 th – 21 st June

For the items we needed to purchase, to bring our ideas together, we went online shopping for price comparisons to see the best deal.

We found that working as a team enabled us to do more and work better!

WE RAISED: £77.30 Lunch times were very busy for a week in June. Pupils created a design and a team from Year 6 used a machine to turn them into a badge or magnet.

We Raised: £ Year 6 cycled for a whole school day on an exercise bike. Family members sponsored them! Everyone took a turn on the bike for 15 minutes, as well as some of the teachers.

We raised: £70.60 Key stage 1 enjoyed watching and singing along to the Disney film ‘Frozen’.

Cake and Bake Sale We raised: £ Homemade cakes were sold over two days at break. We made and iced over 100 cakes before the sale.

We raised: £ Wacky hair styles were created using wool, pipe cleaners and gel. Pupils came to school in their own clothes and pictures were taken in a Photo Booth. We had such a lot of fun!

We raised £45.50 The whole school helped to collect 1p and 2p coins. The containers had to be emptied regularly. Well done everyone!

What we have learnt……. WE RAISED: £ and … we won!!
