Major projects Oulun InnoMajakka Strengthens the RDI networks of institutes of higher education and other actors in Oulu Region. Increases participation of specialists in higher education institutes in the public organisations and business innovation in Oulu Region. Coordinates the mutual innovation and projects of institutes of higher education in Oulu Region. Develops integration of education and RDI. Total budget: EUR 1,1 million

Major projects BioPrint Focuses on the development of electrochemical biosensors using printed technology. The technology has potential to produce rapid and inexpensive assays for environmental, health care and food safety analysis. The project aims at implementing a prototype-manufacturing laboratory, which uses the competence and infrastructure of the Oulu region and offers also a subcontractor network for companies to primarily test their product idea. Total budget: EUR 900,000

Major projects Mixed Reality The objective of the project is to provide information and knowledge of the availability, applicability and effectiveness of MR technologies in different types of application and operating environments. Provides new possibilities and activities for the labor markets by evaluating existing technologies, services and opportunities and developing new service concepts, application demos and information systems. Total budget: EUR 600,000

Major projects fForum The goal is to support women who are planning to become, are already functioning as entrepreneurs and women who want to improve their own career possibilities entrepreneurs with managerial training. A special interest group are immigrant women who are planning to become or who are already functioning as entrepreneurs Total budget: EUR 1,2 million
