We had decided to participate in this environmental project to put into practice the main ideas of the CAS Programme… and to have some fun

Our adventure started in Glyfada where we spent the first two days of the trip.

We visited the historical capital of Europe – Athenes.

In the evening we were invited to a traditional Greek dinner prepared by Julia’s Grandmother. The food was delicious!

The next day we went to Mani. During the journey we had the opportunity to meet new friends from other countries. It was great fun to get to know each other

Our international team of coordinators ;) Thanks to Geitonas School we met people from Great Britian, Spain, Austria and Greece, of course.

But life isn’t just about having fun… On Friday, the hard work began.

Blood, sweat and tears ;-)

For our strenuous work we got not only satisfaction, but also certificates prepared by the grateful local community.

We went hiking on Saturday, which was tiring but entertaining at the same time.

In the meantime we were integrating with our new friends, admiring breathtaking views and becoming familiar with the Greek traditions and culture.

We admired the beauty of nature....

We participated in team building activities...

…and in the evening we sang songs with fantastic ‘ Lords of the Strings’

We had marvelous weather all the time ;)

Peace begins in our hearts ! Making „peace bracelets” was another interesting activity.

There was also time for action ! ;)

... and shopping.

We just fell in love with the Greek cuisine ;-)

Great suprise ! We celebreted the birthday of our new Greek friend.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. 
