Activity Al Gore says: "climate change is a generational challenge. We have to be the generation that made thing"

What is the Global Warming? Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth’s climate forever.

What is the Global Warming? While many view the effects of global warming to be more substantial and more rapidly occurring than others do, the scientific consensus on climatic changes related to global warming is that the average temperature of the Earth has risen between 0.4 and 0.8 °C over the past 100 years.

What causes? Global warming is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere—which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. Other thing that causes global warming is electrical pollution. Electricity causes pollution in many ways.

What causes? As we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy or cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations, carbon accumulates and overloads our atmosphere.

What problem does Global Warming produce?

What effects does climate change have on the Earth? Northeast. Heat waves, heavy downpours, and sea level rise pose growing challenges to many aspects of life in the Northeast. Infrastructure, agriculture, fisheries, and ecosystems will be increasingly compromised. Many states and cities are beginning to incorporate climate change into their planning.

What effects does climate change have on the Earth? Midwest. Extreme heat, heavy downpours, and flooding will affect infrastructure, health, agriculture, forestry, transportation, air and water quality, and more. Climate change will also exacerbate a range of risks to the Great Lakes.

What effects does climate change have on the Earth? Southeast. Sea level rise poses widespread and continuing threats to the region’s economy and environment. Extreme heat will affect health, energy, agriculture, and more. Decreased water availability will have economic and environmental impacts.

Southwest. Increased heat, drought, and insect outbreaks, all linked to climate change, have increased wildfires. Declining water supplies, reduced agricultural yields, health impacts in cities due to heat, and flooding and erosion in coastal areas are additional concerns.

What we can do?  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle  Change a Light Bulb  Drive Less and Drive Smart, Public Transportation: Fast Track to Fewer Emissions and Energy Independence  Buy Energy-Efficient Products

What we can do?  Use Less Hot Water  Use the "Off" Switch  Plant a Tree  Encourage Others to Conserve

Activity final If we do not change towards sustainability, our children and grandchildren will surely tell the generations what were they thinking? Have an opinion on this thought of Mr. al gore.

During the preparation of this project I learned a little more about the severity of the global warming problem. I remember when I studied this topic in the elementary school and when the professors say: “the global warming is a close problem that we have, and though this project I could see how the earth has deteriorate”. We have a long way to protect our earth with the global warming, but we need to do more.
