Help Me Grow Florida is an affiliate state of the Help Me Grow National Network Sponsored by the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Inc., The Florida Department of Education, Office of Early Learning, and The Children’s Service Council of Palm Beach County

What is Help Me Grow? Help Me Grow is part of a national initiative that is designed to identify children eight and younger at-risk for developmental or behavioral challenges, and connect them with community-based programs for health and developmental services.

Help Me Grow Core Components

Services provided through 211 HelpLine Help Me Grow  Developmental and behavioral screenings  Information, resources and materials  Referrals with follow-up and care coordination  Enrollment assistance in community programs

Help Me Grow HMG does not provide direct services. Rather, it is a system for improving access to existing resources and services for children through age eight.

Simply Put….  Help Me Grow (HMG) is a system that connects at-risk children with the services they need.  Help Me Grow is a simple solution that builds on existing resources.

Things You Should Know  HMG can provide the following services for all children in your centers  Linkages to Resources  Care Coordination  Follow-up  HMG can screen children who are not being screened or served through the ELC or other community programs  HMG can serve children  screened through the ELC who need support connecting to other/additional family support services  Who are transitioning out of ELC services

Together, we can create a future of better outcomes for all children!
