2 UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER Introduction  Established in 2009, LCMC Health is a Louisiana-based, non- profit healthcare system serving the needs of the people of Louisiana, the Gulf south, and beyond.  LCMC Health is comprised of Children’s Hospital New Orleans, Touro, New Orleans East Hospital, Interim LSU Hospital (which will soon relocate to UMC), and soon, West Jefferson Medical Center.  LCMC Health stats (includes West Jefferson Medical Center) :  8,100 employees  254,367 total patient days  227,388 annual emergency department visits  600,165 annual clinic visits
