USPS Rate Increase January 17, 2016 Shipping Services products only: Priority Mail – average increase 9.4% Priority Mail Express – average increase 14.2% Standard Post – now called Retail Ground (Name Change Only) First-Class Package Service - $0.20 fee if not IMpb compliant; $0.20 fee for irregular parcels NO CHANGE TO FIRST-CLASS MAIL, INTERNATIONAL OR OTHER SERVICES Retail rate for a one-ounce letter remains at $0.49
