Content  What’s LIMO?  Content of LIMO  Getting started in LIMO  Performing Searches  Using the Search Results  Managing Search Results  “My account”

What’s LIMO?  The discovery service LIMO is the central access point to the collections of the K.U.Leuven libraries.  You can now discover in a single search what sources are available on a certain topic.

Advantages of LIMO  You can find print and electronic publications via 1 search interface in the catalogue of the K.U.Leuven libraries and other LIBISnet libraries in LIRIAS= the research repository of K.U.Leuven in databases and e-book collections that are available within the institution in free e-journals collections

What’s not in LIMO?  NOT all the online databases and e-journal collections licensed by K.U.Leuven are available

What’s not in LIMO?  Monthly new collections are added in LIMO  Up-to-date overview of the databases which can be found in LIMO and which can not be found in LIMO via link op LIMO- startpagelinkLIMO- startpage

What’s LIMO?

Getting started in LIMO  In order to make maximum use of LIMO’s search potential you have to make sure that you are connected to the K.U.Leuven network.  Language: choose your language (English/Nederlands)  “You are on campus” when: you’re working in a library or a PC room (KULeuvenNet) when you are on KotNet when you are connected to the university’s wireless network (Eduroam)Eduroam

Getting started in LIMO  When you are off campus, use your Central K.U.Leuven credentials and you can log in to KULeuvenNet

Getting started in LIMO  Use your Central K.U.Leuven credentials

Getting started in LIMO  By signing in you have access to a personal account which enables you to do the following: Set preferences for your current and future sessions. Permanently store items you have found and queries you have submitted in “My Citations Use library services: you can benefit from library services such as requesting items or making an interlibrary loan request.
